Born in Buffalo, New York, Dr. Glenn M. Charles grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Charles received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, a medical degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Medicine in North Miami Beach, Florida, followed by an internship and residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Michigan State University’s hospital affiliations.
Dr. Charles, from 1997-1999, acted as the primary physician trainer in hair transplant surgery for a large hair transplant organization.
Dr. Charles is well known and highly acclaimed by both his colleagues and patients and is active in several far-reaching medical societies including:
- The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS),
- The International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgery (IAHRS),
- The International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons
- The American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.
The Hair Transplant Forum International regularly publishes Dr. Charles’ articles and he is a faculty lecturer at the ISHRS annual conference.
Dr. Charles has been a member of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery Examination Committee for the past 8 years. He performs hair transplantation surgery at the World Hair Society annual live surgery workshop.
